Enlightened are currently looking for talented individuals to join the expanding team in the following positions.


Position Summary

Reporting to the sales manager, the role of sales coordinator is to assist the sales team in all stages of the sales process and manage the resources utilised by the sales team. The sales coordinator will field initial enquiries, prepare quotations, offer pre and post- sales support, assist with procurement and be responsible for client invoicing.
Good communications and customer service skills are essential, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times. Excellent administrative skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are also vital.


£ 21 to £ 23 K per annum - Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

Tasks & Responsibilities 

  • Receive by phone and email customer enquiries.

  • Assist in distributing and managing sales enquiries within the sales team.

  • Respond to customer enquiries for sales requests with quotations in a timely manner.

  • Support the sales team with administration of sales from initial quotation through to despatch.

  • Coordinate purchasing and manage stock levels.

  • Manage logistics of sales jobs with the dispatch team.

  • Maintain the integrity of sales related data on computer systems.

  • Update sales and purchasing pricing information on computer systems.

  • Ensure that paperwork and administration of sales is kept up to date including invoicing and handling of supplier invoices. 

  • Ensure the workplace is a safe environment to work in and address health and safety issues where possible.

  • Maintain the company’s excellent reputation in all aspects of the role.


About the candidate

Have a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
High level administration skills and self organisation.
Knowledge of professional audio and lighting systems is an advantage but not a prerequisite.

Hours & Location Of Work

You will be based at the Enlightened Head Office in Bristol. 
Office hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 17.30 with a 30 minute lunch break.
You will be required to join the Saturday rota, working one Saturday in 6-8 weeks, 09.30 hrs to 12.00 hrs.

As an essential member of the Enlightened team you should be willing to undertake all reasonable duties requested or under your own initiative as required by circumstance.

Position Summary

Enlightened are offering a student placement scheme, in which a successful applicant will work across all the departments of Enlightened in project management, warehouse work, installation and repairs work.


Enlightened deal with a wide range of clients, from corporate events and awards ceremonies to semi-permanent ice rinks, literature festivals and the Glastonbury music festival – at a wide range of scales, to deliver hires, event production and installations across the South West and beyond, at a very high standard.


With a friendly and close-knit community of staff, that encompasses a breadth of skills and knowledge from all corners of the industry, Enlightened can offer experiences for students with a wide variety of interests, from live events to installation and design and specification.


The Role and its Ideal Applicant:

As a placement student, you will able to explore and develop your skills in a variety of settings.  Starting in the warehouse; preparing and maintaining equipment for jobs, you will gain a foundation for its use out on jobs, which will help you become familiar with Enlightened’s wide range of rental stock.  After some time in the warehouse, you will be sent out on productions and installations, working across all departments within Enlightened.  You will have the chance to design, program and run live events, help specify jobs that you are working on, and make a real contribution to the productions and installations that you are working on.  You will have the chance to work alongside Enlightened employees, freelance technicians and local crew on festival sites, corporate events, installations and other events across the country.  In time, you may be able to specialise in a particular department or discipline that interests you, be it lighting, sound, live events, installation, or any other part of the business.

The ideal applicant should be enthusiastic and self motivated, taking the initiative to ask questions and develop themselves, taking full advantage of all the opportunities that Enlightened has to offer.  An understanding of the company’s values and team playing ethic is essential, and willingness to go above and beyond to provide outstanding customer experiences and to help out fellow employees is an absolute must.

Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining equipment
  • Carrying out basic repairs and testing
  • Picking and preparing equipment for dry hire, production and installation
  • Returning and de-prepping equipment

On events:

  • Working as crew on site, rigging and de-rigging equipment as directed
  • Proposing and fulfilling design briefs for clients
  • Operating lighting / sound systems
  • Console programming 
  • Liaising with clients

Company wide shared functions:

  • Ensure work and communal areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Ensure safe systems of work are followed by all employees.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as required.

As a member of the Enlightened team you must be prepared to undertake all reasonable extra duties as circumstances dictate.

Hours Of Work:

Your usual hours of work will be 40hr per week. Standard non site hours are:

  • 09.00 hrs to 17.30 Monday to Friday.
  • 1/2 an hour unpaid lunch break each day.

Out of hours working will be required due to the nature of the industry.


£12,600 per annum
