1 day Basic MagicQ training course details
Date and time: Thursday, 21st September 2023 - 09:30 – 16:00 GMT
The MagicQ basic training course covers the use of all MagicQ products including our range of PC Wings and MagicQ consoles.
The course covers starting new shows from scratch, layouts, patching, recording and editing cues, cue lists and chases, FX programming.
The courses is suitable for all skill levels, but suited more to those starting out with MagicQ. Experienced users can pick up new tips and tricks.
Set up for training is two people per console using ChamSys MagicVis for visualisation.
Course Details
Cost £25 (+ VAT £30)
Includes- A MagicQ Basic DMX dongle, ChamSys USB key, training guide and lunch.
The course runs from 9:30 to 16:00.
If you book the basic AND the intermediate training under two consecutive days (2 days next to one another) then you'll receive a MagicDMX FULL dongle instead of the MagicDMX Basic (worth £70!)

Date and time: Friday, 22nd September 2023 - 09:30 – 16:00 GMT
The MagicQ Intermediate MagicQ training course is suitable for existing MagicQ users wanting to expand their knowledge of MagicQ and look at some of our latest MagicQ features.
The course covers advanced MagicQ features including: advanced patching, pixel mapping, timecode, timeline scheduled events, execute window and group FX.
The courses is suited towards existing MagicQ users, we'd recommend previous MagicQ experience in a show environment before attending this course.
Set up for training is two people per console using ChamSys MagicVis for visualisation.

- ChamSys require up to 48 hours notice for any cancellations, where during that period you can get a refund. Less than 48 hours notice for cancellation, you will not receive a refund.
- Refunding tickets- Up to 7 days before the event, the refund fees will be free of charge. Less than 7 days notice and fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Any dietary requirements for lunch please notify us soon so we can accommodate.
