Finale Weekend 2021

This year's Bath Festival Finale Weekend was particularly special after an unanticipated hiatus of a year and it was fantastic to be back doing what we love.

Originally scheduled for May of 2020, last year’s event had to be canceled due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions. Undaunted, however, many of last year’s ticket holders retained their admission with a view to joining in the celebrations once restrictions were lifted and the event was once again able to welcome a live audience in August of 2021.

This year we were delighted to again provide production lighting and crew for this year's Bath Festival Finale Weekend concerts, at both the Bath Rec main outdoor stage as well as the  City Stage. Featured 2021 main stage acts included: McFly, Scouting For Girls, Gabrielle, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, and the incomparable Billy Ocean.

After so long without live music events, the atmosphere this year was truly euphoric with the audience vocal in their support for every act.

The main stage lighting rig consisted of a dozen Vari-Lite VL2600 Profile’s and, dozen VL10 Beamwashes which delivered sets with incredibly crisp and tight dynamic beams and beautifully saturated colours. The ChamSys MagicQ MQ500M delivered lighting control, programming, and cues 

The second City Stage lighting rig consisted almost entirely of Chauvet intelligent fixtures with LD David Howard utilising their powerful and versatile Intimidators 140SR Hybrid and Rogue R1XWash fixtures alongside Oxo Pixyline.
