Enlightened have recently been keenly involved in the full building refurbishment of the historic Holy Trinity Church in Frome. Our team worked in close contact with the architects to fulfill the client’s brief of creating an open plan and welcoming place, enhanced by the installation of our bespoke lighting design.

The essential requirement was to create a simple to use but highly versatile and flexible lighting system, and after discussing various options in the consultation process, the decision was made to use a high specification GDS Led lighting system.

This configuration, coupled with added down and up lighting, provided a discreet yet effective means of enhancing the stunning interior architecture of the church.

The system is controlled with intelligent touch screen controllers at various locations to create a variety of moods and atmospheres to suit the requirements and nature of the Church’s varied roles as a place of prayer, contemplation, remembrance and celebration.
