Enlightened was delighted to be asked to facilitate Christ Church’s Festival of Commemoration marking the centenary anniversary of the Great War’s Armistice of 1918.
The commemorative service of remembrance included a service dedicated to those of Christ Churches own parish who gave their lives in the Great War their names inscribed on the churches War Memorial.
Enlightened was commisioned to create a lighting installation that would turn Christ Church into a beacon of remembrance. The front entrance and spire were lit in a deep red to mark the centenary with the entrances gothic arch highlighted in magenta which due to the ‘Old Lady on the Hill’s” prominent elevated position could be seen from across Swindon.
