Enlightened were honoured to be approached by the Albany Theatre in Deptford to help with the complete technical refurbishment and new installation of their multi purpose theatre space. Working in close collaboration with their Head of Production Ben Stephen and his team we were tasked with finding exciting and creative solutions for their dynamic central theatre space.
Enlightened were delighted to be asked to provide new lighting and Audio Visual equipment to this beautiful and much loved church.
Known affectionately by locals as ‘Old Lady on the Hill’ Swindon’s Christ Church has recently closed for over two months for the first time in it’s 166 year history to undertake major remodelling and rejuvenation to it’s interior.
The work was made possible through generous private donation and additional support from the congregation and Friends of Christ Church.
Enlightened Lighting were approached by St Mary's Church in Taunton to replace an existing lighting system that was becoming unreliable and very expensive to run.
Anolis ArcPads were specified as we have extensive experience of the products' brilliant performance and durability having utilised it on many previous projects. After a successful demonstration, custom brackets were fabricated by Enlightened and the installation went ahead.
Controlled by multiple networked Sunlite S.T.I.C.K.'s, the installation has been very well received.
Enlightened Lighting carried out a remarkable technical installation in a new £9.5m performing arts facility at Hayesfield Girls’ School in Bath — incorporating well over 100 JBL loudspeakers into a fully-integrated audio visual design, a contract worth in excess of £200,000. The space will enable the school to offer courses in Stage Design and Management as well as Music Production. “Performance and creativity are key to students' learning and these new facilities enable this to happen,” stated head teacher, Erica Draisey.
The special projects team have just completed another challenging installation.
As a regular supplier to Bath Abbey, they knew exactly where to come with the task to update all their chandelier fittings and retro fit specific LED Lamps.
With custom brackets and electronics, all the Abbey Chandeliers have been converted to be LED fittings. Working closely with a specialist chandelier firm - with timings being scheduled and coordinated by the Abbey over a number of months, the project is now complete with fabulous results.
Enlightened were approached by St Pauls the Hackett Church in Thornbury to replace and rejuvenate their existing lighting system.
Though diminutive in size St Pauls is a pretty stone built mission church constructed in 1905 within the parish of Thornbury. Seating only one hundred parishioners, the church is held in great affection by its congregation who appreciate its informal and intimate atmosphere.
Bradford on Avon’s charming St Margaret’s Hall was originally an early nineteenth-century wool dyeing factory. Its varied working life saw it converted into a cinema during the First World War and housing the town’s volunteer fire brigade in the 1940s, before conversion into a civic hall in the 1950s.
This much-loved building is at the heart of Bradford on Avon’s community, with the local council striving for over ten years to maintain and refurbish the hall with a view to restoring its central role in the town.
The Woodlands church is the flagship home of a hardworking Bristol Christian community whose dynamic forward-looking church has a busy calendar of events and performance based worship. Enlightened were delighted to be approached by this active and engaged ministry to revitalise their performance lighting and audio-visual capability..
