Position Summary

An exciting position has become available to join the growing team at Enlightened in the role of Technical Sales.

Product and industry experience are essential, to offer advice and specifications, providing quotations to customers and colleagues.

The role requires meeting with existing and new customers to develop business across the company. Good communication, people and negotiation skills are essential, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.


Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop direct sales to both our existing and to new client base.
  • Ensure sales enquiries and leads are followed up and actioned promptly
  • Demonstrate sound and lighting equipment to customers as required.
  • Work closely with directors and managers reporting sales figures and targets.
  • Deal directly with suppliers and maintain good relationships.
  • Coordinate purchasing & stock control, systems & procedures with our dispatch team.
  • Attend trade shows and events, networking with customers and suppliers.

Hours & Location Of Work

Your time will be shared between customer sites and Enlightened Head Office in Bristol. Staying away from home on location will be required for short periods from time to time.

Office hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 17.30 with a 30 minute lunch break.

You will be required to join the Saturday rota, working one Saturday in 6-8 weeks, 09.30 hrs to 12.00 hrs.

Be part of the out of hours support rota.

As an essential member of the Enlightened team you should be willing to undertake all reasonable duties requested or under your own initiative as required by circumstance.
