This dongle is paired with ETC's Gadget II, A portable USB to five-pin XLR interface, Gadget II plugs into your laptop without any network infrastructure and gives you fully-functioning, two-universe output for PC- or Mac-based ETCnomad controllers.
When you use it as a primary or backup, the system output is determined by the device with the lowest output configuration. When it's connected as a client, the output capacity of ETCnomad is ignored.
When you use ETCnomad as a primary or backup, the system output is determined by the output count of the server device. Only the number of outputs purchased will be backed up in case of a failover. When it's connected as a client, ETCnomad's output capacity is ignored.
